The cultural similarities between Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Zimbabwe

The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Zimbabwe have some cultural and social similarities and the most prominent are as follows:

i) Common history in fighting against despotic regimes and the so-called super-powers.
ii) The victory of their Revolutions almost took place at the same time (Islamic Revolution’s victory in 1979 and Zimbabwean Revolution’s victory in 1980)
iii) Historical relations between the Iranians who settled in East Africa around 10-15 century and their relations with Monomutapa Empire. These relations have been confirmed by archaeological excavation in some parts of Zimbabwe.
iv) The respect of two nations to their revolutionary cultural values and their leaders.
v) The respect of two nations to preserve their traditions and ancestral heritage.
